Parks and Recreation Episode Review- GryzzlBox
NBC’s recently ended, “Parks and Recreation” puts a comedic spin on the serious topic of data mining and freedom of privacy. In this episode Gryzzl, the Google/Amazon/Facebook/Twitter amalgamation, sends boxes full of things to the townspeople via a fleet of drones. Putting aside the creepy fleet of delivery drones, they search texts, calls, emails, banking statements, medical records, etc. in an effort to as they put it “learn everything about everyone and track them wherever they go”. Definitely not chill.
